OUR WINES
Our wines are selected mostly from Family Owned wineries. We build relationships with the wineries by visiting them and eating together with the owners, winemakers, and grape growers.
We select our wines by drinking them with dinners specifically tailored for the wines. This is the proper way to go about appreciating wine.
To go an extra step, the owner of In Vino Veritas not only wrote a book on wine and also teaches wine classes, but is at the store in person to recommend our carefully selected wines. Where else in the world can you find that?
In Vino Veritas carries wines from all over the World and we store those wines in a climate-controlled wine cellar, where every bottle of wine sold to the customer is kept at a perfect temperature. Though we carry some popular brands, we go out of our ways to seek out family owned boutique wineries that focus on small production gems. We also carry around 150 different Organic wines, some even without any detectable sulfites and others even Biodnynamic.
From The United States, we proudly carry New York State wines, as well as those from California, Oregon, and Washington State. From South America, In Vino Veritas carries wines from Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay. From the other side of the World, we stock wines from New Zealand, South Africa, and Australia.
Our European selections come from Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Greece, and Hungary.
In Vino Veritas also offers a stunning array of Kosher wines, mostly coming from Israel, but also from the rest of the World.
We specialize in Italian wines. As stated in my wine book "Wine Made Easy", "Clones included, there are over 2,000 different grapes in Italy, most of them with origins native to the land. As overwhelming as that may seem, look at it like this : You now have 2,000 reasons to experience Italian wine." In Vino Veritas is proud to carry wines from certain regions of Italy that are even unknown to other italians from different areas of the country. We are typically one of the first in America to introduce rare grape varieties to the excited public. There is no other country that inspires us more.
Besides Red, White, and Rosé wines, we also have many Sparkling wines, such as Champagne, Prosecco, Cava, American Sparkling, Rosé Sparkling, and even Red Sparkling.
We proudly boast Dessert Wines from around the world, including Port and Sherry.
Sake is kept cold for your convenience.
Half Bottles of both still, sparkling, and sweet wines are also available.
